The flooding in Collierville caused homes to need immediate remediation. Part of that remediation was to remove carpets and padding which contained contaminated flood water. Once the SERVPRO technicians have the demolition done the next step is to disinfect and dry the wet cement and tiles. Tile does not have to be removed as it is not porous. It does have to be disinfected and sealed once again to assure there are no contaminates.

The restoration of the home will happen after the rush of damaged homes is finished. During a large storm event it is very difficult to start restoration until all the damaged homes have been cleaned and dried.
